The R44 Raven I standard features include a precision-engineered RPM governer, an auxiliary fuel system for added versatility and longer range, and hudraulic power controls that completely eliminate stick shake and control forces. A proven workhorse of the very successful R44 helicopter line, the Raven's o-540 Lycoming engine gives impressive altitude performance, payload, and speed. The Raven I can also be configured as the Clipper I, equipped with fixed floats.

The Raven I also features a carburetor heat assist which enhances safety and reduces pilot workload by automatically adding carb heat when the collective is lowered and reducing carb heat when the collective is raised.
